“Bootlegger Cabin” 28′ x 23′

(Bootlegger REDUX see below)

Circa 1850

Just in! A nice little cabin with a history from the bootlegging days, once owned by the Bronfmans of Canadian liquor fame. See inset photo of Sam Bromfman)

It’s not as small as it looks, being 28 x 23 with a nice tall second-floor area. we hope to retrieve the fireplace stones and put them back, fitted just as nicely as you see them. This one has it all, windows, doors, floor joists, rafters, and even finished wide-pine floors …so not much new material to buy at all. This may be the last one we have and the best buy ever.

Bootlegger Cabin “Redux”

The original single-story Bootlegger cabin may be a bit small (even though it has a loft bedroom) so here’s our updated cabin if you need a bit more space. How about we raise it up to a story and a half? No problem. Just a bit of carpentry. And while we’re at it, add a nice saltbox kitchen off the back? An option to be sure, but again no problem. We aim to please.

How can we do it? We can stretch it by adding a great pair of French doors as shown in the pictures here. Now you can have it at 1200 + sq. ft. or, with the added kitchen, another 200 ft. Your choice.

And if you’d like to see the original Bootlegger, still standing, arrange for an appointment and let’s meet there.

The photo above, while not the actual Bootlegger Cabin, shows what the view to the new French doors we’ll add might look like as seen from the inside.
