Build a Beautiful Log Home Like This One!
Re-Create This Gem of a Log Home!
It’s two of our log buildings put together!
A Natural Wonder: Once in a while we get lucky… or I should say, our clients get lucky. Like this one we built about 40 years ago. The two houses seemed meant to belong together. And it’s been a long marriage that gave the family decades of harmony and tranquility. (See more photos on HOUZZ)
Only once or twice before have we found two log homes so well-matched to become that home that most only dream about. If you have been waiting for just such a home, now is the time to take advantage of this wonderful offering. Once again, two great log houses are prepared to come together to serve the next generation to appreciate the lasting quality of one of the earliest Canadian architectural forms …the blending of Ontario’s old-growth timber and its pre-Cambrian rock.
Preliminary plans have begun to create a home of about 3000 square feet. Linking the two houses is a spacious foyer, entered through a wonderful c1850 Georgian entrance surrounded by nature’s own stone. Let us work with you to design the interior that can offer five bedrooms, some with en suites, charming rooms with beamed ceilings, wide pine flooring, a pair of stone fireplaces, modern kitchens and baths to complement the ambiance that only history can provide. And our state-of-the-art Tradition Windows and doors glaze the exterior with age-old charm while offering many useful maintenance-saving features.
