Built with vintage, 1820 hand-hewn logs!
This will be one of the best log homes ever! It measures 40 feet across, not including the wings (up to three are possible) that are each 25′ x 20′. The total square footage will be up to 5000 sq. ft.
The vintage, square-hewn logs vary in height from 22″ at the foundation to 16″ at the top of the walls. The ceiling beams are also hand-hewn as well, as are the rafters.
A 12-foot ‘belvedere atop the main roof will provide extra daylight to the interior below and could be built as a private loft.
The ‘wings’ could serve as guest rooms, a kitchen, or a dining area, perhaps with an open-air screened porch area.
The ‘eyebrow’ windows in the roof are each twelve feet wide. All windows will be our exclusive Tradition Windows which feature thermopane glazing.
