Once there was a house, a pretty little house that wanted so much to be the house that would take care of a small family who wanted to live in the country. It wanted to take care of them in all of the seasons that it ever saw as it grew in the forest. It thought it found the right family but alas, it was not to be and it waited and waited for two whole winters for the right family to come along. It wondered how this could be when all the pretty windows had been made to fit and even painted a lovely off-white paint. It knew anyone would love the beautiful pine floors and the gorgeous pine walls in every room. Maybe this was the springtime that it would be found and finally be the home a family would love. That’s all it wanted.
